The story
Suona la SVEGLIA.
the alarm clock sounds.
(suono sveglia)
(sound alarm clock)
E’ notte, e due ladri, padre e FIGLIO, entrano in una villa per SVALIGIARLA.
It s ‘night, and two thieves, father and son, enter a house to rob.
Nessuno in casa è SVEGLIO. Il FIGLIO SBADIGLIA, poi BISBIGLIA:
No one in the house is awake. The son yawning, then he whispers:
“meglio se vai avanti tu papà, ho paura del BUIO”.
“better if you go ahead Dad, I’m scared of the dark”.
“ok FIGLIO! non mi MERAVIGLIO, ma passami il FOGLIO; passami la mappa della villa”.
“ok son! I am not surprised,, but pass me the sheet, hand me a map of the house”.
(ABBAIO)
(bark)
“papà!”
“Dad!”
“cosa c’è FIGLIO?”
“what’s up son?”
“mi è sembrato di sentire un cane ABBAIARE”.
“I thought I heard a dog barking”.
“no FIGLIO, credo che hai preso un ABBAGLIO!”
“no son, I think you’ve made a mistake!”
“Non mi SBAGLIO papà”, GLI rispose allarmato il FIGLIO.
“I’m not wrong”, said the son alarmed.
Il cane si chiama GIGLIO. GIGLIO è un cane da guardia, e con i ladri non scappa mai come un CONIGLIO. Non appena il ladro padre si accorge del cane, avvisa il FIGLIO:
The dog’s name is Giglio (Lily). Giglio is a watchdog, and with thieves it do not ever run away like a rabbit. As soon as the thief father notices the dog, he alerts the son:
“attento FIGLIO mio!”
“Be careful my son!”
“cosa c’è papà?”
“What’s up Dad?”
“il cane, il cane è SVEGLIO!”
“the dog, the dog is awake!”
ma GIGLIO punta il BERSAGLIO, e in men che non si dica azzanna il padre alla CAVIGLIA.
but Giglio point the target, and it imediately bites the father to the ankle.
(urlo di dolore)
(scream of pain)
Il FIGLIO, invece, si SCEGLIE un NASCONDIGLIO e poi se la SQUAGLIA.
The son, instead, chooses a hiding spot and then it goes away to their heels.
“tanto MEGLIO! Non mi piace fare il ladro, mi piace solo fare il FIGLIO!”
“even better!, I do not like to do the thief, I only like do the son”
